About the job:
This role sits within the Commercial and Growth Hub / ERP Order to Serve at Opella Digital. We are a dynamic team passionate about supporting Opella through a pivotal phase following its recent carve‑out from a global pharmaceutical multinational, as the company builds its own standalone capabilities and establishes itself as an independent P&L entity.

We are seeking to construct a best-in-class digital organization, where the ERP will be a solid and adaptive backbone of our systems and our supporting functions applications.
Main responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of ERP SD and Trade functionals, providing functional leadership and architectural guidance
Design, analyze, and oversee functional and technical architecture within the SAP ecosystem, including integrations with key applications
Contribute to architecture design reviews, product roadmap, and product strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Partner closely with business users and process owners to understand Opella’s business processes, translate requirements into end‑to‑end architecture solutions, and document systems and processes
Collaborate with development, AMS, and other ERP functional teams to ensure solution delivery, end‑to‑end integration, compliance, and resolution of complex issues
Ensure business continuity by acting as the highest level of functional support during critical incidents and supporting data migration, go‑live activities, and ERP program execution
Drive continuous improvement through innovation (PoCs/Prototypes), training, and keeping solutions up to date with latest Sales & Distribution functionalities
About you:
10+ years of SAP S/4HANA delivery experience in a business‑oriented context, ideally within a global FMCG environment
Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Trade (Condition Contract Management, on‑/off‑invoice models, Accruals Management, and Payment Settlement)
Deep functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA SD, including order‑to‑cash processes, EDI/CRM integration, ATP, export controls, compliance documentation, and claims & returns
Solid S/4HANA configuration and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to balance standard configuration versus custom development
Proven capability to translate functional requirements into technical designs, effort and cost estimates, and to manage end‑to‑end delivery
Strong project management and continuous improvement mindset, with experience working under pressure in complex, multi‑geography and multi‑tier service environments
Good understanding of SAP application and technology architecture, Agile ways of working (Jira, Confluence), and exposure to AI capabilities within SAP ecosystems
Master’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering
Strong written & verbal communication in English (Spanish or French are a plus)
