Job description

Keonn is a manufacturer of RFID hardware and software products for different sectors, like retail, healthcare, libraries, industry, and logistics.

We provide RFID systems mainly for the retail and healthcare sectors, as well as RFID UHF components, like antennas, multiplexers, and readers for any industry.

Keonn’s team is comprised of experienced engineers and PhDs with deep knowledge in fields like radiofrequency, antennas, electronics, firmware, and cloud-based software.

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.  In this role, you’ll collaborate with a team of frontend developers, actively contributing to our Design System in Figma and translating those designs into reusable web components and high‑quality code for our Cloud platform. You’ll be involved from concept to implementation, helping shape consistent, accessible, and performant user interfaces.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain accessible, scalable and customizable web components for our Design System and UI library
• Design components and page mockups in Figma
• Translate page mockups into actual code
• Write tests in Jest/Vitest/Playwright
• Collaborate with other team members
• Write and maintain documentation

What we’re looking for

• Computer Science, Software development degree or equivalent (preferred, but not required)
• Minimum 2-3 years of full-time experience in a frontend developer role
• Strong JavaScript ES6+, CSS3, Sass and HTML5 expertise
• 1+ year of experience using modern frameworks (preferably React) 
• 1+ year of experience in web components
• 1+ year of experience with design tools such as Figma or equivalent
• Experience using modern build tools/dependency managers/bundlers (npm, Webpack, Vite, Babel or equivalent)
• Comprehensive knowledge of responsive web design
• Good understanding of version control tools (Git) and GitHub
• Problem-solving capacity and proactive to find solutions. Strong customer focus
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English (B2+) and Spanish
• You are a resident of the EU or are in possession of working permit in Spain

Nice to have

• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG, inclusive design principles)
• Experience in micro frontends
• Experience in Lit is a plus
• Experience in Vue framework
• Usage of AI tools, such as Copilot
• Familiarity with jQuery
• Highly interested in the Retail sector
