About the Opportunity
Our client is a globally recognized manufacturer of advanced printing machinery serving industries such as label production, flexible packaging, carton board, security printing, commercial printing, and pharmaceutical materials.
Our client is currently seeking a Purchase Executive to support procurement operations and ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, components, and services required for manufacturing activities.
The role will play an important part in maintaining supplier relationships, supporting inventory planning, and ensuring smooth procurement processes aligned with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials, components, and services.
- Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate sourcing of required products.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Maintain procurement records and support inventory monitoring and stock control activities.
- Assist in cost management initiatives by obtaining competitive quotations and supporting supplier negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality control, and commercial teams to ensure purchased materials meet required standards.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain documentation related to supplier performance and purchasing activities.
- Utilize ERP and procurement systems for order management, reporting, and inventory tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- A Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is considered an advantage.
- 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain functions.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with negotiation capability.
- Fluent English & Spanish required.
