Overview
At Welo, an SEO Account Specialist leads strategic SEO initiatives across a diverse portfolio of global clients. You’ll leverage technical expertise and a data-driven mindset to develop, execute, and optimise comprehensive SEO strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
Job Description
- Develop and contribute to comprehensive SEO strategies, including technical audits, content optimisation, and off-site initiatives.
- Oversee SEO performance tracking and deliver actionable insights through advanced reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with content, development, and localisation teams to implement SEO best practices.
- Help identify opportunities to further improve efficiency or quality of work delivered.
- Own the day-to-day delivery of SEO work against customer objectives.
- Lead comprehensive SEO audits, identifying and addressing technical issues.
- Manage and optimise on-page and off-page SEO campaigns.
- Develop and execute advanced keyword strategies for content optimisation.
- Oversee and refine link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
- Analyse and report on SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Required experience and background
- Ideally 1-2 years experience in SEO.
- Any prior exposure to other digital marketing channels is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends and algorithm changes.
- Advocate and demonstrable impact on insights and delivery.
Ideal Skillset
- Ability to conduct comprehensive SEO audits and competitive analysis.
- Experience in leading SEO projects and initiatives.
- Strong data analysis skills to derive actionable insights and optimise strategies.
- Experience in developing and executing advanced keyword strategies.
