We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Manager to join our organization in the Operations team, based in Barcelona, Spain. 



The Mission:
 

To drive the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of Worldsensing’s global service requests. This role acts as a critical internal pillar, navigating the movement of industrial materials across complex borders to accelerate the company's expansion and operational success. You will be the architect of our transport strategy, ensuring every shipment is a seamless bridge between our technology and our customers.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Global Transport Orchestration: Plan, coordinate, and supervise the complex flow of industrial goods between multiple warehouses, international suppliers, and global customers.
  • Customs & Trade. Lead all Import/Export operations, ensuring full compliance with international regulations, managing documentation for industrial equipment, and mitigating risks of customs delays.
  • Strategic Carrier Management: Oversee and negotiate with external transport providers and 3PLs, ensuring they meet strict performance standards and agile communication protocols.
  • Warehouse & Operations Integration: Apply deep knowledge of inbound, storage, and outbound operations to ensure a seamless transition between the warehouse and the transport network.
  • Process Optimization: Identify, propose, and implement improvements in procurement procedures, material requests, and internal logistics workflows to reduce lead times and costs.
  • Cost Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain rigorous control over transport budgets, tracking KPIs, and providing data-driven insights to the Operations Manager.



Requirements:



  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in similar roles, specifically within industrial or technical sectors.
  • Trade Expertise: Solid experience in customs management, international trade laws, and the handling of industrial goods (HS codes, Incoterms 2020, and shipping documentation).
  • Data Proficiency: Advanced MS Office skills (especially Spreadsheets for cost analysis and tracking).
  • Languages: Fluent English is mandatory (used daily for international coordination and customs clearance).
