Job Overview:

In this dynamic, hybrid B2B role, you will act as a Business Development Representative for Google Cloud Platform solutions, serving as the critical first point of contact for businesses across the EMEA region looking to scale and innovate.

What You Will Do:

  • Proactively engage hundreds of prospective businesses via outbound phone calls and emails (including cold calling).
  • Connect directly with C-level decision-makers to build rapport, uncover technical pain points, and qualify business needs.
  • Propose adequate Cloud computing solutions (solution-selling) and align clients with the most appropriate sales path.
  • Manage and nurture a strategic portfolio of assigned accounts to identify high-potential prospects.
  • Update, maintain, and diligently track all lead details, account activities, and customer data in Salesforce (CRM).
  • Drive new business growth to achieve quarterly Sales Qualified Opportunity (SQO) quotas and daily activity metrics.

Requirements:

  • Native-level proficiency in German with fluent idiomatic English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • BA/BS degree OR equivalent practical business experience.
  • Prior experience in outbound sales, B2B sales, cold calling, or business development (ideally within the IT/Tech industry).
  • Strong foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts, specifically Google Cloud Platform solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, high professional integrity, and strong business acumen.
  • Confident, tenacious, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive against assigned quotas in a phone-based environment.
  • Desirable: 1+ years of IT prospecting experience and hands-on familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
