MISSION

The Senior Manager, Global Pricing supports the design and oversees the execution of the Global Pricing Strategy across the company’s portfolio.

Working in close partnership with global functions and local affiliates, the role ensures pricing policies, governance, and lifecycle pricing plans are implemented consistently and translate into value capture and sustainable profitability across key markets.Reporting to the Global Pricing Associate Director, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Global Market Access team at Almirall’s headquarters.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and maintenance of brand pricing strategies along the product lifecycle (pre‑launch, launch and post‑launch), ensuring alignment with the overall Global P&MA strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Contribute to pricing policy and governance, including supporting the price approval process and monitoring implementation across affiliates and ensuring price accuracy in the global price management system.
  • Support the implementation of the pricing and market access excellence roadmap by contributing to the review of team processes, KPIs, tools, governance, and ways of working.
  • Provide business-relevant insights through analogue assessments, competitive intelligence analysis as well as systematic monitoring of key P&MA trends.
  • Support contracting, tendering, and innovative pricing model discussions by defining strategic objectives and contributing analytical inputs to enable country execution.
  • Support pricing forecast exercises and cross‑functional planning processes
  • Support analyses related to price changes’ impact on the business, such as international reference pricing, for business cases, lifecycle events, and ad‑hoc business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing tools, dashboards, and ways of working.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Business or related discipline; MBA desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and/or related consulting firms.
  • Experience in global/regional pricing and market access, including exposure to European pricing and reimbursement systems; experience with US pricing/market access dynamics is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting launches and lifecycle management of innovative medicines with significant payer implications.
  • Demonstrated experience producing pricing analyses (e.g., scenario/sensitivity, analogue assessment, IRP) and supporting governance/approval processes.
  • Experience working in matrix organizations with cross‑functional and affiliate stakeholders; people leadership or transversal leadership experience preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS & COMPETENCES

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into clear recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of global pricing interdependencies, pricing governance, and key access drivers across major markets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to tailor messages to senior stakeholders.
  • Organized, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with competing priorities.
  • Fluent English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus.
