About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated German-speaking Business Analyst to join an innovative AI-focused project in Barcelona. In this role, you will work at the intersection of data, business strategy, and artificial intelligence, helping stakeholders transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance and support cutting-edge AI initiatives.

The ideal candidate is passionate about data-driven decision-making, possesses strong business acumen, and can effectively communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, performance metrics, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable insights and data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Support AI-related initiatives by identifying business opportunities and translating business needs into analytical frameworks.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting and analytics processes.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help establish best practices for business analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Native-level German and excellent communication skills.
  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex insights to diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in data visualization platforms and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and database design principles.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL is required.
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar analytics tools is considered a strong advantage.
